Wondering whether pediatric medical daycare could be a good fit for your child? Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC/PPECC) is for children who need skilled nursing care and are medically stable enough to receive care outside a hospital. The criteria below explain the starting point for admission.


Patient Referral Form

  • Medical Complexity, Fragility or Technology Dependence

    Your child has complex medical needs, is medically fragile, or depends on medical technology.

  • Doctor's Approval

    Your child's doctor must approve admission to Little Stars Pediatric Center.

  • Medical Stability

    Your child must be medically stable, without an immediate need for hospital care.

  • Suitability for Outpatient Care

    Your child's care needs must be suitable for an outpatient setting.

  • Need for Skilled Nursing Care

    Your child needs skilled nursing care.
